Coastal Outdoors Refunds & Returns Policy

At Coastal Outdoors, customer satisfaction is important to us. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order. This policy explains our terms for returns, refunds, cancellations, warranties, backorders, promotional discounts, and order issues.
Coastal Outdoors sells outdoor gear, sporting goods, apparel, camping products, fishing equipment, hunting accessories, archery items, knives, tools, and related outdoor products. Some items may be subject to special restrictions, manufacturer policies, or shipping limitations.
General Return Policy
We accept returns of eligible unused, unopened, and undamaged products within 30 days of delivery.
Returned items must be:
- Unused and in new condition
- Returned in the original packaging
- Complete with all manuals, tags, parts, accessories, and included materials
- Free from damage, wear, odor, modification, installation marks, or signs of use
Refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned item is received and inspected.
A 10% restocking fee may apply to approved returns unless the return is due to a Coastal Outdoors error, such as an incorrect item shipped.
Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to our error.
Items That May Not Be Returnable
Some items cannot be returned for safety, hygiene, legal, manufacturer, or shipping reasons. Non-returnable items may include, but are not limited to:
- Used, opened, worn, installed, altered, or damaged products
- Items missing original packaging, manuals, tags, parts, or accessories
- Special-order products
- Clearance, closeout, final-sale, or discontinued items
- Perishable or consumable goods
- Personal-use or hygiene-related items
- Products with broken factory seals, where applicable
- Items restricted by law, carrier rules, or manufacturer policy
- Gift cards or store credit certificates
Coastal Outdoors reserves the right to deny any return that does not meet the requirements of this policy.
Restricted Outdoor Products
Some outdoor products may be subject to age restrictions, shipping restrictions, or local laws. These may include knives, tools, archery products, hunting accessories, safety equipment, and other regulated or restricted outdoor items.
If an item cannot legally be shipped to your location, or if an order appears to violate applicable laws or restrictions, Coastal Outdoors may cancel and refund the order.
Customers are responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply in their state, county, city, or local jurisdiction.
Incorrect, Missing, or Damaged Items
If your order arrives incorrect, incomplete, or damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photos of the product, packaging, shipping label, and any visible damage
Please keep all original packaging and shipping materials until the issue is resolved. Shipping carriers may require packaging photos or inspection for damage claims.
If the issue is due to a Coastal Outdoors error, we will work with you to correct the order, replace the item when available, or issue an appropriate refund.

Do not ship items back until your return request has been reviewed and approved. Returns sent without prior approval may be delayed, denied, or returned to sender.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a Coastal Outdoors error.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method and keeping your tracking number until the return is fully processed.
Coastal Outdoors is not responsible for return packages that are lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, or delivered to the wrong address by the carrier.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email whether the return has been approved or denied.
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after approval.
Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank, credit card provider, payment processor, or financial institution.
Shipping charges, handling fees, and restocking fees may be deducted from the refund where applicable.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled for a full refund before they are processed, packed, or shipped.
Once an order has shipped, it is subject to the standard return policy listed above.

We cannot guarantee cancellation once an order has entered fulfillment or has been transmitted to a distributor, warehouse, or shipping provider.
Pre-Orders & Backorders
Pre-orders and backorders may be canceled before shipment for a full refund unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Once a pre-order or backordered item ships, the standard return policy applies.
Backordered items will ship when available. Availability dates are estimates and may change due to manufacturer, distributor, supply chain, or carrier delays.
Coastal Outdoors reserves the right to cancel any pre-order or backorder due to availability issues, pricing errors, product restrictions, discontinued items, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Warranty Support
Many products sold by Coastal Outdoors may include a manufacturer’s warranty.
If your item is defective or develops an issue during the manufacturer’s warranty period, we will do our best to help you identify the appropriate manufacturer contact or warranty process.
Coastal Outdoors does not provide in-house repairs or exchanges for manufacturer warranty issues unless specifically stated.
Warranty decisions, repairs, replacements, or credits are generally handled by the manufacturer according to that manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Promotions, Discounts & Rewards
Items purchased with promotional discounts, coupon codes, store credits, or rewards may be eligible for return if they meet the standard return requirements.
If an order is returned, refunded, canceled, or adjusted:
- Redeemed discounts or reward credits may not be refunded as cash
- Earned rewards from the refunded order may be reversed
- Promotional offers may not be reusable after cancellation or return
- Store credits have no cash value unless required by law
Refused or Undeliverable Packages
If a package is refused, returned to sender, undeliverable, or unable to be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, the order may be refunded less original shipping, return shipping, carrier fees, and any applicable restocking fee.
Please carefully review your shipping address before submitting your order.
Pricing, Availability & Order Errors
Coastal Outdoors works to keep product information, pricing, and availability accurate. However, errors may occasionally occur.
We reserve the right to cancel or correct any order affected by pricing errors, product listing errors, availability issues, shipping restrictions, or technical errors.
If an order is canceled due to an error, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.
