The axe head is forged from 1055 high-carbon steel, fully polished and hand-sharpened to produce a bone-splitting, shield-shattering edge. Its 10″ cutting surface tapers to two sharp points: the longer top point for thrusting, gouging, and parrying, and the shorter bottom point for capturing shields or hooking an opponent’s limbs. This dual-purpose design reflects authentic Viking battlefield tactics.

To complement the head, the Viking Axe is mounted on a 48″ straight-grain American hickory handle, produced in Maine from premium hardwood. This long handle maximizes leverage, reach, durability, and power, turning every cut or chop into a devastating impact.
